Medals and jewellery taken after burglars raid Lichfield business

Medals and jewellery have been stolen during a burglary in Lichfield.

Raiders struck at Blackbrook Farm Antiques on London Road between 5.30pm on August 1 and 7.30am on August 2 and stole the contents of a display cabinet.

Among the items taken were:

  • An 18ct Boodles rain dance-style diamond (approx 1.5cts) ring
  • A rose gold Albert chain
  • An antique silver pique tortoiseshell box
  • An antique diamond crescent brooch
  • An Atmos limited edition clock
  • A Boar War medal
  • Bravery in the Field medals
  • A gold Breitling Top Time watch
  • A diamond art deco double-clip pin
  • A diamond tennis bracelet
  • A silver Edwardian lorgnette
  • A vintage Jaeger Le Coultre watch
  • A gold Patek Philippe watch
  • A pearl sapphire and diamond necklace
  • A peridot and pearl brooch – similar to the pendant in the picture but in brooch form
  • A silver buckle bangle
  • A Victorian Royal Navy long service and good conduct medal
  • An 18ct gold Audemars Piguet ladies watch

Anyone with information on the burglary or anyone who is offered such items for sale is asked to contact DC Michelle Banks at Staffordshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 199 of 2 August.
