Afternoon tea and poetry enthusiasts are in for a treat courtesy Lichfield Literature Festival.
Swinfen Hall Hotel’s legendary afternoon tea will be accompanied by tender, funny and inventive poems on love and friendship from four talented Emma Press poets: Amy Key, Liz Berry, Francine Elena and Jacqueline Saphra.
The event is on October 12 at 5pm. The menu includes a selection of sandwiches, buttermilk scones with cream and jam and a selection of cakes and cookies with a pot of tea or cafetiere of coffee.
