Motorcyclists from across the country are set to visit the National Memorial Arboretum this weekend.

Saturday (October 4) sees the seventh Ride to the Wall event takes place.

Thousands of riders are expected to head for Alrewas – including 81 Belgian bikers taking part in the Great Ride, which sees them travel from the Menin Gate in Ypres to the UK.

Motorcyclists will begin leaving designated start points across the region at 8.30am.

Once they arrive at the National Memorial Arboretum there will be a performance by the Military Wives Choir on the before a Tiger Moth biplane drops poppies along the causeway to the Armed Forces Memorial.
