Red Shoes bringing acoustic folk sounds to the Lichfield Guildhall

Acoustic folk sounds will be on the menu when Red Shoes take to the stage at the Lichfield Guildhall.

The band have developed a reputation for what concert organiser Lichfield Arts describe as “chiming acoustic guitars and mesmerising lead vocals”.

Their appearance in the city on February 21 will see support from talented Lichfield 13-year-old Amelia Harrison, winner of the 2014 Battle Acoustica competition and finalist in Lichfield’s Got Talent.

Lichfield Arts programme coordinator Chris Newcombe said: “This is going to be an evening of quality music.

“Amelia Harrison is really worth the ticket price alone, while Red Shoes have honed their song-writing and musical skills to near perfection, with stagecraft and repartee that really is second to none.

“This is a great opportunity to experience some fine up-beat folk music in the grandeur of the Guildhall”.
