Seven-a-side rugby is coming to Burntwood this weekend.

The Sportsway will host the second round of matches in the Staffordshire 7-a-side Series on Saturday (June 6).

Twelve teams will play a round-robin tournament leading to three finals. Among the clubs taking part are Barton-under-Needwood, Burton 2nds, Eccleshall, Essington, Gnosall, Newcastle (Staffs), Rugeley, Trentham, Stafford and Wednesbury, plus seniors and colts sides from Burntwood.

Entry is free and the clubhouse will be open to members and non-members alike.

One June 12 Burntwood also hosts the next round of the East Staffordshire Rugby Development Group Touch Rugby tournaments.

Teams are mixed male and female line-ups with the fun starting at 7pm and lasting for a couple of hours.
