Lichfield Cathedral will play host to Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service’s annual family festival of carols.

The popular event will see local children act out the nativity play before a performance by the Lichfield Cathedral Chamber Choir on December 6.

Chief Fire Officer Peter Dartford said: “The family festival of carols is a real treat for guests from across the generations and it is a great way to get into the Christmas spirit.

“The children always put on a really heart-warming performance and there are traditional carols throughout the service.

“The cathedral itself is a stunning setting which makes the evening nothing short of magical. If you haven’t already reserved a seat, I would encourage you to do so and join us for a memorable festive event.”

The free event is open to everyone and those who would like to attend. To book a place, email Nicky Westwood or call 01785 898979.
