She will perform an evening of new arrangements of Leonard Cohen songs from her recent studio album A Thousand Kisses Deep. The 2014 Jazz Vocalist of the Year will be joined on stage by Phil Robson on guitar and Dave Whitford on double bass.

The new sessions will take place in the Studio and feature musicians including Partikel’s String Theory in February and the Phil Robson Organ Trio in March.

Alex Lloyd from the Garrick said: “The new series will bring a lot of quality jazz artists into Lichfield from across the UK.

“The series offers a wide range of genres within jazz, there will be some familiarity and some performances that will be a little more thought provoking.

“Lichfield already has such a great jazz scene and these nights will show just how vibrant it is in our popular culture.”
