Christmas trail for children coming to Beacon Park

A festive trail is taking place in Beacon Park.

The Xplorer trail will offer children the chance to follow the clues and get a certificate.

Youngsters can spot colourful characters, including Father Christmas, an elf and a robin, while older children can search for letters and challenge themselves to see how many Yuletide related words they can make from them.

Councillor Andy Smith, Lichfield District Council’s Cabinet member for parks, said: “Xplorer challenges are not only fun, they are also a great introduction to map reading and problem solving.”

The trails, which take around 30 minutes to complete, will be available on Saturday (December 12), between 11am and 2pm. They cost 50p each and are available from the Beacon Park’s Ranger Station, which is next to the crazy golf course.
