The weather prevented Lichfield City FC from making it two cup wins in a week as their JW Hunt Cup clash with AFC Wulfrunians was abandoned.
The game had reached half-time before the rain eventually took its toll on the playing surface.
City will hope for better luck next time out when they entertain Hinckley in the league on Saturday (January 16).
