Lichfield Garrick hoping to help youngsters beat half-term boredom

Youngsters are being invited to shrug off the half-term boredom at the Lichfield Garrick.

The theatre is hosting productions aimed at kids, starting on February 15 and 16 with The Lost Things by award winning theatre company Tortoise in a Nutshell and writer Oliver Emanuel.

The Lost Things

The play follows a boy who falls and finds himself in a dark and terrifying new world of lost things – car keys, wedding rings, dads, and a mysterious girl who is building an amazing machine.

On February 17 and 18, Propeller Theatre Company performs Pocket Dream, a child-friendly version of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Afterwards there will be a chance to ask questions of the cast.

The Garrick will also be hosting its second family day on February 20.

The event offers free activities as well as workshops, including the comedy school for kids and a poetry session.

The day will also see Krazy Kat Theatre Company perform Cinder-Ella.
