Beacon Park is ready to come to the rescue for parents as half-term approaches in Lichfield.
The open space will have events and activities on offer to keep youngsters entertained once the schools break up.
Junior golfers will be able to tee off for £2.60 for a nine-hole round between 11am and 3pm from February 15 to 19. There will also be a leaderboard challenge to see who can top the monthly table.
The park’s Discover Hub will also host a kaliedoscope creation workshop on February 17 and 18 at 11.30am and 1pm. The session costs £2 and places can be booked by calling 01543 308869.
Councillor Andrew Smith, Cabinet member for leisure and parks at Lichfield District Council, said: “There is always plenty of fun to be had at Beacon Park any day of the week, from the exploring the woodland to playing in the playground, but these half term activities allow children to try out new activities that will help them to fill their week off school.”
