Liberal Democrats hold on to seats on Lichfield City Council and Lichfield District Council as Paul Ray wins Chadsmead by-election

The Liberal Democrats have held on to the their seats on Lichfield City Council and Lichfield District Council.

A by-election had been called following the resignation of Marion Bland due to ill-health.

But Paul Ray held onto both seats in today’s ballot.

  • C Ball (Labour) – 195
  • B McMullan (Conservatives) – 159
  • J Higgins (UKIP) – 73
  • A Elsdon (Greens) – 23
