Chasetown Scholars U14s kicked off their defence of the Lichfield Shield Cup with an 8-0 win at Whittington Harriers.
The goals came via a hat trick from Luke Cope, a brace from George Armstrong, and one each for Owain Thompson, Will Reaney, and Carter Lycett.
Man of the match went to Luke Cope for an excellent performance.
Next week Chasetown travel to Holly Lane in the second round of the shield.
