A Lichfield hotel is hoping to expand its restaurant.
Cathedral Lodge Hotel on Beacon Street has applied for planning permission to build and extension and carry out work to reconfigure the reception and lobby area.
A statement supporting the application from the 36-bed business said: “The hotel is an important business within the local area and the extension to the restaurant area and reconfiguration of the entrance lobby would assist in securing its future.
“The proposed works provide an opportunity to enhance the vitality and viability of the Cathedral Lodge Hotel.”
