Pedal power will be in focus at the launch of a new cycling workshop in Lichfield.
Based at Minster Hall, the Wheelie Workshop will be run by vounteers to support people who receive free loan bikes from Lichfield Re:Cycle.
A spokesperson said: “It will be used as a base to encourage more people to use a bike as part of their everyday life.
“We host skill-sharing demonstrations and build confidence in people to ride and maintain their bikes.”
A session on the new initiative will take place at 11am on Saturday (April 23), followed by a workshop at midday. The Lichfield Bike Moot ride around the city will start at Speakers’ Corner at 2pm, before food and drink at the official opening at 3.30pm.
