The sessions are taking place at Beacon Park’s Discovery Hub on May 13.

Roses have featured on canal boats since the 19th Century since and are created by using a layered technique.

Councillor Andy Smith, Cabinet member for leisure and parks at Lichfield District Council, said: “Having a go at one of these workshops is a good way to learn a new skill and to enjoy exploring your creativity.”

The workshops run from 10am to 12noon and 1pm to 3pm. Each one costs £8. Places can be booked by calling Ruth Witczak on 01543 308869 or by emailing [email protected].
