A group of local businesswomen are holding a charity night to support the Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
Members of Lichfield Ladies Tangle will host the event at Debenhams in the Three Spires Shopping Centre at 6pm on May 12.
The evening costs £5 and includes free makeovers, hair consultations and product presentations.
The group’s chairman Sue Jay – a former trustee of the Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity – said: “It’s a cause that will always be close to my heart so it was an obvious choice for our charity event as we know it will be a big night and we want to see the money raised make a big difference.
“There is always a huge fundraising need at the hospital as the NHS just can’t provide the extras, and once you see the differences you can make it kind of gets under your skin.
“It’s a brilliant charity where amazing people are doing amazing work,” added Sue, who lives with her husband in Burntwood.
Fellow organiser Alice Reeve, owner of Lichfield’s Francesco’s Hair Salon, said that she was delighted Debenhams had agreed to help their fundraising drive.
“The children’s hospital is a local cause that means a lot to us at Francesco’s and as I am friends with Sue through the Tangles group, we would have done whatever she had asked for such a great local cause,” Alice said.
“I brought Sue and the Debenhams team together as I know most of the stores in the Three Spires are always helpful when it comes to supporting charity events and they have been no exception.
“It will basically be a great, enjoyable pampering evening for local ladies and some of the staff from Francesco’s will be providing colour consultations and skin tone analysis on the night.”
Tickets, costing £5, are available from Debenhams.
