An event to raise money for Staffordshire’s Retired Police Dog Fund is taking place at Chasewater.
The Big Dog Jog takes place on June 25 and will see four and two-legged runners and walkers tackling either a 5km or 10km course.
The event will raise money for the fund, which was set up three years ago to support retired police dogs and their owners.
It will be the second time the Big Dog Jog has been held, with the previous one in September seeing more than 170 runners and 80 dogs taking part.
A spokesperson said: “Staffs Police Cadets will again provide valuable support to the event by acting as marshalls on the course.
“The force’s mascot, Kash, will also be there to lend a paw and will no doubt prove to be a big success with the children.”
The event will run between 10am and 12pm. Participants can register online.
