James Dance was a double winner at Chasetown FC’s end of season presentation.

The midfielder – who has recently extended his stay with the club for another season – was named supporters’ player of the year.

Dance also shared the honours in the managers’ player of the year award with Rhys Thompson.

The players gave their award to goalkeeper John Bateman, while former Scholars stopper John Birt, who is now a member of the coaching team, was handed the president’s award.

Paul Sullivan collected the top goalscorer gong, while the Norris Russell Memorial Award was given to Chris Slater after he broke the club’s all-time appearance record earlier this season.
