Lichfield District council has won a sixth gold award in a row for the way it manages a database of addresses.
The GeoPlace Exemplar award is given to local authorities for data excellence.
Councillor Chris Spruce, Cabinet member for finance and democracy, said: “This is fantastic news.
“It’s very rewarding when quality is recognised by the experts and it’s a great achievement to win this award six years running. Well done to the team.”
