Community arts projects in Lichfield and Burntwood are being invited to apply for grants of upto £1,000.
The money is being made available by Staffordshire County Council’s Community Arts Fund.
Last year saw 35 projects supported, including a lightshow projected onto the Guildhall in Lichfield to mark the 250th anniversary of the founding of the Lunar Society.
Gill Heath, the Cabinet Member responsible for the arts at Staffordshire County Council, said: “This is a creative county and we have some very talented groups in our local communities doing some great work.
“The arts can have a really positive impact on people’s lives, their health and well-being and we want to support those groups who have the imagination and enthusiasm to put such events on.
” I would encourage anyone with a project that needs getting off the ground to get in touch and bring something great to their community.”
