Burntwood Town Council is spending £20,000 on the two days this year and will be supported by local organisations and businesses.

Documents due to be discussed at a meeting of the authority’s events committee reveal that World Tae Kwon Do champion Rachel France-Shepherd will lead the procession.

There will also be a display by the Burntwood Tae Kwon Do club in the arena.

Other attractions will include a funfair, assault courses, laser tag, human table football, a bungee run, a surf simulator, a circus entertainer, a Punch and Judy show and an appearance by the Rugely Power Station Brass Band.

Burntwood Breast Care are organising a scarecrow competition while Spark will run a Royal-themed fancy dress contest.
