A Lichfield business has agreed to sponsor the city’s annual pantomime for the third year running.
Tempest Ford will back Sleeping Beauty, which runs at the Garrick Theatre from December 1 to 31.
Brian Carruthers, managing director of Tempest Ford, said: “I am delighted that we will be sponsoring the pantomime again this year.
“Sleeping Beauty is an all-time favourite and, under Tim Ford’s creative direction, is set to be another major success for the Garrick production team.”
The link-up will again see the dealership provide a branded Sleeping Beauty car which will be used at a variety of events.
Tim Ford, artistic director at the Garrick, said: “It’s fantastic that Tempest Ford have come on board for another year.
“Last year’s partnership proved to be incredibly successful for both parties, with the now famous panto car making appearances at schools and community events across the district.
“Sleeping Beauty is shaping up to be the best pantomime Lichfield has seen, it will be full of surprises with plenty of festive magic.”
CBeebies star Rebecca Keatley has been confirmed to play Fairy Moonbeam and Sutton Coldfield based dame Sam Rabone will take on the role of Nurse Nelly.
