A local expert has launched a series of events aimed at bringing the nationwide gin revolution to Lichfield.

Tom Wigley has turned his love of the drink and food into more than a hobby with his new Gin and Nosh initiative.

The project has even seen the creation of homemade lamps from empty bottles as well as creating the first ever Lichfield Gin Trail.

Tom will also launch the first ever Lichfield Gin Festival in November, bringing some of the country’s best small distillers to the city.

Ahead of the events, there will be a tasting evening on July 4 and 5 at the Le Reve bar in the city centre.

Tom said: “At just £10 per head, with five exclusive gins to taste and then a gin and tonic of your choice, the evening is great value for both those who want to give gin a try or seasoned gin lovers who’d like to try something special.”

Anyone interested can contact Tom through the Gin and Nosh website.
