Chasetown FC have confirmed the departure of defender Henry Eze.

The no-nonsense centre-back was a regular feature in the Scholars back line but follows fellow stopper Chris Slater out of the exit door.

A Chasetown spokesperson said: “We wish Henry all the best and thank him for his efforts during his time with the club.”

Meanwhile, the Scholars have also changed the date of their friendly with Stafford Rangers.

The two sides will now meet at Stafford’s Marston Road home on August 4, kick-off 7.45pm.
