Two men have been arrested after a car was stolen in Clifton Campville.

The blue Audi RS7 was taken at around 11.45am yesterday (July 19).

The owner had remotely accessed her CCTV and spotted two men approaching the house before they smashed the patio doors to access the keys. One of the pair made off in the car and the other drove away in the vehicle they had arrived in.

But the car’s tracking system allowed officers at Staffordshire Police to liaise with colleagues in West Midlands and Warwickshire to follow the car.

At around 1.30pm officers found the car in Shard End Crescent in Birmingham. Two men – an 18-year-old and 27-year-old from Birmingham – attempted to escape but were detained and arrested by police.
