£1,000 worth of cigarettes stolen from Lichfield petrol station

Thieves have stolen £1,000 worth of cigarettes from a Lichfield petrol station.

A delivery van was at the Shell station at the Fradley North Service Station at 5.30pm yesterday (July 21) when a blue-coloured people carrier drove up on the grass verge before making off with the goods towards Alrewas.

One man involved is described as white, about 5ft 10” tall, white hair, aged about 25 to 30. He was wearing a t-shirt and black jacket. The second man is described as white, and was wearing orange.

Anyone with information is asked to call Staffordshire Police on 101 and quote reference 90 of July 21.
