The 80s pop duo will be live from 7.30pm on August 27 as part of the Lichfield Food Festival.Jon Arrowsmith, director of organisers Cocker Hoop Creative said he was delighted to bring brothers Greg and Pat Kane and their hits including Labour of Love and Looking for Linda to the city.
“Seeing Hue and Cry in the stunning surroundings of Lichfield Cathedral will be a perfect end to the first day of Lichfield Food Festival,” he said.
“Hue and Cry have been entertaining us for years with their soulful hits, and it’s such an honour to be working with them on this open air set.
“We’re really excited to be offering this event for free, but we’re urging festival goers to make sure they arrive in good time as entry is on a first come first served basis.”
There are 1,500 free entry places to see Hue and Cry at the cathedral and festival organisers are advising people to arrive at around 6.30pm.
