Children will be able to go on a mini-beast hunt at the National Memorial Arboretum next week.

Led by the Alrewas venue’s volunteer wildlife officer Richard Thorpe, the session will take place from 2pm to 4pm on August 20.

A spokesperson said: “The sessions are always great fun and there is a lot to discover at the arboretum, where wildlife is abundant.”

Admission is £1 and places must be booked in advance by calling 01283 245100.
