Thousands of youngsters visited Beacon Park to enjoy the annual fun day and Teddy Bear Games.

Organised by Lichfield District Council, the event also featured a range of games and activities, such as giant inflatables, a miniature steam train and stalls.

There was also a barefoot walk, rides on a carousel, paintballing, panna football, badminton, Watt bike cycling and dance mats on offer.

Youngsters also competed in teddy themed sports, including the teddy sprint, teddy wanging and the ted on head race.

Councillor Andy Smith, Cabinet member for leisure and parks at Lichfield District Council, said: “Beacon Park was packed with children and their families for our fun day. Well done to everyone who competed in the teddy races and thank you to the Parks Team for making the day such a success.”
