Land next to Chase Terrace Primary School could be used for a new housing development.
Proposals have been drawn up for 12 three and four bedroom homes on the Rugeley Road site.
The developers say they hope the properties would prove popular.
“The location of the site within an established small town area means that there is a wide range of community facilities for potential occupiers to access easily.
“Transport and pedestrian routes are safe and well established in and around the area.”
