Lichfield City FC bagged a magnificent seven to ease through in the JW Hunt Cup against Warstones Wanderers.
Dave Langston’s men had the better of the opening period with Ben Lund going close just after the half-hour mark.
The breakthrough eventually came on 37 minutes as Chris McComisky netted for City, before Lund made up for his earlier missed opportunity with his side’s second after the break.
The goals saw the floodgates open as Morgan Hurley scored from the penalty spot and Lund found the target again.
Jordan Evans and Joshua Haston were next to add their names to the list of scorers, before Dan Thurstance rounded off a memorable half for City.
