Hundreds of people got into the Christmas spirit with a special nativity play at Lichfield Cathedral.
Local children took part in the performance as part of Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service’s Family Festival of Carols, which also featured Lichfield Cathedral Chamber Choir.
Jude Russell, who organised the event, said: “It was once again a joyous event for everyone who attended and really is the start of the Christmas season for the fire and rescue service.
“It was a magical evening and was attended, and thoroughly enjoyed, by people of all ages who travelled the length and breadth of the county to take part.”
