With neither side likely to feature in the play-off positions, the game between Chasetown FC and Sheffield was a typical end of season affair.

In the opening 45 minutes there were only three shots on target, the closest being a Jack Langston free kick that was straight at keeper Christopher Butt who parried down to his feet and gathered at the second attempt.

On the hour, Joe Thomas slid the ball through to Nathan Rooney whose effort was kicked away by Butt from close range.

Sheffield were a whisker away from taking the lead when Daniel South headed against the post following an Alex Pursehouse free kick.

Deep into the final ten minutes, a deflected Josh Ruff effort saw Butt scrambling to his right to dive on to the ball.
