A workshop in Lichfield will teach youngsters how to make paper flowers in time for Mother’s Day.

The session in Beacon Park’s Discovery Hub are suitable for children aged over eight and take place on March 25.

Councillor Andy Smith, Cabinet member for leisure and parks at Lichfield District Council, said: “We hope plenty of children will come along and make something special for their mothers or grandmothers.”

The drop-in workshop will start at 11am with the last entrance at 2.30pm. It costs 50p for each tissue paper flower and all children must be accompanied by an adult.
