A trail around the park will lead participants to a small prize until April 23. It costs £1 to take part and trails are available from the ranger station between 9am and 4pm.

Children can also take part in an Xplorer orienteering challenge on April 12 between 11am and 2pm. It costs 50p and once youngsters have completed the challenge they will receive a certificate, sticker and wristband.

There is also an Easter decoration day in the Discovery Hub on April 14 between 11am and 3pm. The drop-in session allows youngsters to make decorations and costs £1.

Councillor Andy Smith, Lichfield District Council’s Cabinet member for leisure and parks, said: “We hope plenty of people will get involved and enjoy the programme of cracking activities.”
