Appeal after BMW is stolen from outside property in Lichfield

A car has been stolen from outside a property in Lichfield.

The white BMW 435 was taken in Canterbury Close at around 5.30am this morning (April 18).

A Staffordshire Police spokesperson said: “We want to hear from anyone who witnessed suspicious activity in the area and would urge anyone with information to contact us. All information received will be looked into.”

Anyone with information can contact police on 101, quoting incident 75 of April 18.

    It’s about time the local Police actually did something about these burglaries.
    Few of these thefts are publicised but I know from bitter personal experience how frequently this is happening.
    I would advise all residents to make sure that the original ‘euro-locks’ in upvc doors are upgraded to new ‘anti-bump’ locks and not to leave keys in an easy to find place.
