Chris Worsey

Chris Worsey
Labour’s General Election candidate for Lichfield has confirmed he will not be attending the hustings event tonight.

Candidates are due to face each other at Wade Street Church this evening (May 31).

But Chris Worsey, who will contest the seat once again for Labour after coming second in 2015, said he would not be at the hustings.

He said: “I made clear I couldn’t make this date but unfortunately they weren’t able to rearrange.

“It’s a shame because I really enjoyed the debate at the cathedral last time round.”

The invisible candidate remains a mysterious shadowy figure as he has been for the past 2 years.

It’s almost as if he knows he doesn’t stand a chance against Fabbo.

Would have been quite a trek from Great Barr to Lichfield…

Seems the Greens / LibDems will have to take on position of opposition.

I wonder who’ll be able to address the issue of Robo-Rights? and the ethical politics of artificial consciousness? :/

Pity they didn’t ask me. I’d like to know when in the next 5 years Fabricant is going to visit Burntwood when NOT on a pre-election photo-op. Or when he is going to ask a real question in Parliament.
Very poor show though, Worsey.

I wonder if any of these candidates realise that the constituency is called Lichfield AND BURNTWOOD, we were completely ignored hustings wise in 2015 and it appears once again in 2017, apart from the odd appearance by one or the candidate at Sankeys corner for local press photo opportunity. When will any of 25000+ residents get chance to see and question our perspective mp? It is particularly difficult for the elderly and non drivers to have to trek to Lichfield of a evening.
Burntwood must be the least cared about area of the country given it’s population to to area ratio…
Utterly fed up of this behaviour
