LCP made the comments after seeing planning permission granted for a new 50,000sq ft development on Burntwood Business Park.

The new facility could be split into five separate units, with the company’s industrial portfolio manager Andrew Preston saying he expected them to be popular.

“The level of enquiries we are receiving from businesses that want either to relocate to Burntwood or who are already there and want to expand suggests that there will be a demand for them,” he said.

“We are offering flexibility in the size of units available, which makes it an even more attractive prospect.”

Work is expected to start on the new development later this year with the work expected to be completed by next summer.

LCP intends to start on site later this year with an anticipated completion date of summer 2018.
