Councillors have pledged their commitment to residents in Lichfield and Burntwood at an annual civic service.
Recently appointed chairman of Lichfield District Council, Cllr Mark Warfield, led the Act of Commitment at St Michael’s on Greenhill.
He invited parish, district and county councillors to acknowledge their responsibility to the community and pledge their commitment to the service of the people of the area.
Cllr Warfield said: “I would like to thank St Michael’s for a lovely service.
“I was honoured to lead my fellow councillors in the Act of Commitment, confirming the council’s pledge to serve the people of Lichfield district.”
I’ll keep an eye on their voting records then.
