EXCLUSIVE: Friends of a Lichfield man killed after being hit by a train on a level crossing have been paying tribute to him.
Stuart Turner died after being hit by a train at the Station Road crossing in Barlaston at around 8pm on Friday.
His Facebook profile and a tribute group set up in his memory have been inundated with messages.
One friend said:
“Words can’t describe any of this. I can’t believe I’m never going to see you again. You will never be forgotten.”
Another friend added:
“I’m so shocked to hear you’ve been taken from us. I have so many happy memories of you. You will be sadly missed.”

My thoughts go out to Stuart’s family, it’s such a tragedy to lose a life so young.
I remember teaching Stuart at Nether Stowe several years ago, what a terrible shame.
rip stu youll never be forgotten mate we had some laughs wheather it be out cruising, boating and the beach, or out on the razz there was ever a dull moment with you around and you always had time for everyone.
