Friends of a Lichfield man killed when he was hit by a train on a level crossing are organising a collection in his memory.
Stuart Turner died on March 20 at a level crossing on Station Road, Barlaston.
His friends are now planning a floral tribute to him and will be meeting at The Scales pub in Lichfield tomorrow evening at 7.30pm to share their memories of the popular former Nether Stowe pupil.
A collection tin will also be on hand on the evening to take donations from those who want to contribute to the floral tribute.
A Facebook group has also been set up by Stuart’s friends.
