The funeral of a Lichfield man killed after being hit by a train at a level crossing has been been put back.
Stuart Turner died when he was hit by a train on a level crossing at Barlaston on March 20.
According to a Facebook group set up in his memory, his funeral was due to be held at St Mary’s Church in Trentham, Stoke-on-Trent, at 11.30am on Friday but will now be held on another date yet to be decided.
Friends have already begun a collection to buy a floral tribute to the popular former Nether Stowe pupil and his mother Jayne has set up a charity page on JustGiving in aid of Impact Young Heroes, which has already raised more than £400.
