Young film-makers are being urged to contribute to Lichfield’s Inspire Film Festival.

College, university and school  students from across the UK are being invited to submit their short films – in either the drama, documentary, music video or animation category – to the Festival.

The entry fee for college and university students is £5 and £3 for school students. Submission guidlines and application forms can be downloaded from the Inspire Film Festival website.

Each entry will be judged by a panel of top industry judges, with the short-listed nominees seeing their work on the big screen at the Festival, which runs from  July 3-5 at the Garrick Theatre.

The deadline for submissions is May 29.
