Lichfield City failed to upset the odds as they went down 4-0 in the Jack Mould Trophy. Facing higher league opposition in the shape of Racing Club Warwick, City performed well with Sam Geffen and Aaron Cleaver full of running. But three mistakes gave Racing Club Warwick a healthy lead and they topped off a flattering scoreline with a stunning strike to make it 4-0. Lichfield will now need to turn their attention back to league action as they entertain Midland Combination Division Three leaders Hampton on Saturday.
