Girlfriend of Lichfield Britain’s Got Talent hopeful ready to cheer him on again

The girlfriend of Lichfield Britain’s Got Talent hopeful Shaun Smith is preparing to cheer her man on in Saturday’s televised final.

Emily Abbotts was in the crowd when Shaun made it through to the final of the contest when he won the vote of the judges after performing U2’s With Or Without You.

And Emily is ready to return to the capital at the weekend with the hope of seeing her boyfriend take the title and win a spot on the Royal Variety Performance.

She told The Lichfield Blog:

“I was so proud of him – he was amazing. I knew how nervous he was but he didn’t show it at all when he was singing, he was really, really good!

“I think he has a good chance at doing very well in the final, but he’s just really pleased to get there. The whole experience for him has been amazing. I will be there in the auidience on Saturday night screaming and shouting for him!”
