The psychic who backed Shaun Smith during Britain’s Got Talent still predicts big things for the Lichfield singer.
Despite developing a huge fan-base and praise from all three judges, the 17-year-old wasn’t able to make the final three as Diversity won the coveted Royal Variety Performance spot.
But psychic Dean Maynard believes Shaun still has a bright future ahead of him. He explained:
“Shaun sang brilliantly throught the competition and has won himself an army of new fans. I am sure Shaun has a massive future in the music business and he deserves all the success which has come and which is about to come his way.”
Dean also hit back at critics who questioned him following Shaun’s failure to win Britain’s Got Talent. He said:
“People say that he didn’t win but a thing to remember about my work, is that it is not all about winning. It’s about the long haul. All of the acts I have supported have gone onto do really well, even if they haven’t won their particular show.
“Niki Evans (X-Factor) and Escala did not win their shows and now Niki has the lead role in Blood Brothers in the West End and Escala have just debuted at number 2 in the album charts.”
