Norfolk N Chance are only four points shy of the summit in the Lichfield Sunday Leisure League, as they claimed a 4-2 success over Gash Wanderers.

The Galacticos had their wings clipped at the top as they could only manage a 1-1 draw with Bassetts Allsorts.

James Lee was the star for First Division outfit Boley Park FC who lie in third spot as they cruised through 5-1 against Balboa’s Boys, whilst Catalans edged through 3-2 against FC Licho in a hard-fought affair.

Hats Of dropped to third in the Monday league this week as they were beaten 2-0 by new leaders Monkeys Punk.

Old Heads moved second, enjoying a fine 3-0 victory over England Youth while PES United and Colin Lee’s Adopted Sons played out a 1-1 stalemate.

In division one Renegade Rovers closed the gap on second placed Norfolk N Chance to just a point after crushing Dads Army 4-1, while Chance were held 1-1 by Street Strikers.

A nice symmetrical look to the scores in the Tuesday league this week as leaders Wilmot Dairies and third placed KED both won 1-0 against Smash Ups FC and Friary Boys respectively, while there were 2-0 triumphs for high-flying Liquid Football in their clash with Guinness All Blacks and Sporting as they saw off bottom side KB Allstars.
