Burntwood Leisure Leagues football round-up

A nicely uniform look to the Sunday Premier League scores this week as a quartet of teams cruised home 2-0.

The Trotters Return Again moved to the top of the table after beating Fortress, while Young Guns saw off Heavyweights to go third.

The foursome was completed by early strugglers Alcoholic Allstars and Claret and Blues, who beat FC Firm and Wolfsburg Dubs respectively.

The rash of 2-0 wins continued in division one, as White Horse went top after ending Warriors unbeaten record, although Real Betis Hotpot broke the sequence with a 3-1 victory over The Big Devils.

Panthers Old & Passed It got off the mark for the campaign in style, thumping Streetrace FC 4-1 and two nervy 1-0 wins were enough for Average Joes to beat Not So Pro and Burntwood 6 held on against Pass The Ball To Ben.

Beercalona gave themselves a great shout of title glory in the Monday Premier Division after narrow 1-0 win over Burntwood AFC, as they moved level on points with the leaders with two games remaining, whilst Euro FC kept their hopes alive with a 3-0 success against The Bronx.

Manaconk FC saw off Fibratrim by the same scoreline in Division One as they remain in pole position for the title, whilst Real Brownhills kept themselves in the hunt by cruising through 4-1 against City Rovers.

IYM FC confirmed their Division Two title win with a 2-2 draw with Mean Machine, as rivals PSV Hangover were defeated 1-0 by FC Sporting.

Grasping At Straws were also 1-0 victors over Bobby Dazzlers in the Third Division as they lie a point clear at the top, but Team Salad eased through 4-0 against The Green FC to pile the pressure on the top teams.
