Event in Lichfield aims to raise awareness of Alzheimer’s

The North Lichfield Initiative is inviting local residents to come along to learn more about the Alzheimer’s Society.

The event takes place on July 9, from 10am to 3pm.

Anyone affected by Alzheimer’s is welcome to drop by on the day to learn more about the support the society offer – such as counselling and workshops.

Melanie Green, Dementia Information Support Coordinator for the Alzheimer’s Society, said:

“Alzheimer’s is a pretty scary illness, and it can be a great comfort to know you are not alone and that there is help out there. We warmly welcome anyone who has Alzheimer’s, or is caring for someone who does, to stop by and find out how we can help you.”

For more information contact the Jigsaw shop on Dimbles Lane, on 01543 253666 or call Tracy Potts on 07731701922.
